Slasky’s ‘Intrusioni’ series, released in March 2018, places contemporary objects into art of the past. These objects ‘intrude’ the paintings and represent a powerful contrast between the old and the new, as digital art merges with past artistic genres. This is a limited edition of 10 prints only and measures 440 x 600mm.

Part of Slasky’s ‘Intrusioni’ series, released in March 2018, this is a limited edition of 10  prints only, signed by the artist and delivered with a certificate of authenticity from Klein Editions.

Working from Rome in Italy, Slasky’s work is a fusion of urban influences and contemporary pop art, in which he represents the icons of this century and those that make up significant moments from history. The style is very personal, working from some of the world’s most recognisable images, and so the works have an instant sense of familiarity, but presented with an injection, sometimes explosion of colour and life that imbibes them with richness and modernity. Details are thrust front and centre in Slasky’s canvases, using techniques of contrasting colours, textured backgrounds and screen prints to create the same subject in varying guises, separating them from their traditional backdrops.

Slasky seeks not to represent new things, but to represent with novelty.

Authenticating a Slasky print

Our Certificate of Authenticity system is designed to give you the utmost security and reassurance that you are purchasing a genuine limited edition work of art – reducing the risk of forgery and ensuring that you are buying from an authorised Slasky art dealer.

Each certificate is manufactured by Hahnemühle in Germany, and made of premium deckle edged mould made paper with a Hahnemühle watermark and fluorescent security fibres. A serialised numbered hologram is added. A second, identically numbered, paired hologram is then applied to the reverse side of the artwork. Both certificate and print are signed by the artist, with each serial number recorded with the date and method of production, ensuring that a work can always be traced back to the authorised source.
